The Committee on the causes of the financial crisis has been formed to create a clearer picture of the causes and consequences of the financial crisis. The Committee is also mandated to make an assessment of the effects of the measures taken to support financial stability as well as growth and employment in the Danish economy. In this context it is only natural, by way of introduction, to establish what is understood by "the financial crisis in Denmark"
