More than every fourth wind turbine in the world comes from a Danish manufacturer, and Denmark enjoys a strong concentration of competences in the entire value chain concentrated in a limited geographical area. Moreover Denmark has one of the most developed district heating systems, which has contributed to a renowned technology and consultancy industry. Also energy efficiency measures are a Danish stronghold. The Government's growth plan was drawn up on the basis of recommendations from the Growth Team for Energy and Climate.
