Published 05-10-2015

The Danish government and the Danish maritime industry are welcoming the international maritime world to Danish Maritime Days 2015.

Throughout this week, a wide range of events take place all over Denmark, covering topics from sustainable growth over maritime security to the workforce of the future. Danish Maritime Days offers conferences, trade fairs, workshops and ship visits, as well as social events gathering key maritime stakeholders from both the public and private sector all over the world.

Minister for Business and Growth Troels Lund Poulsen:

The flagship event of the Danish Maritime Days is the Danish Maritime Forum held on 7-8 October. The forum gathers key leaders from the global maritime industry, including government representatives from Europe, Asia, and Africa as well as leading CEOs and experts from the global maritime sector. They will discuss opportunities and challenges of the future global maritime industry, including free trade, global regulation and the need for innovation. The overall focus will be on unleashing the full potential of the global maritime industry in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable manner.

2015 is the second year in a row that Danish Maritime Days and the Danish Maritime Forum takes place.
